The APSRS-5BZLR includes two 5-button chromed-metal reinforced remotes that will withstand the daily wear & tear of hanging by your keychain and provide performance that get's up to 1 MILE of remote control range!
► Remote Keyless Entry:
Remotely locks & unlocks all your vehicles doors.
► Power Trunk/Hatch Activation:
For vehicle's equipped with a power trunk or hatch release, just press & hold the remote's trunk icon button for over 3 seconds and it will separately pop open your vehicles trunk (or hatch).
► Safety 2-Press Remote Start Activation:
The remote starter is activated by pressing the remote start button on the remote 2X within 3 seconds. This setting helps prevent any accidental activation that could occur with a single press activation setting.
► Parking Lights Confirmation:
Visual confirmation that you activated the remote starter: The system will flash the vehicles parking lights 1X right after you activate the remote starter and then turn the parking lights on solid shortly afterwards to indicate that the vehicle is running via the remote starter.
► Pre-Heat/Pre-Cool Activation:
Pre-setting your vehicle's heat settings prior to exiting your vehicle will enable you to pre-warm the interior and defrost the windshield when your vehicle is running via the remote starter. Same with the vehicle's AC, just pre-set the AC settings where you like it and it will pre-cool the interior on those hot days from it sitting in the sun.
► Multiple Remote Start Run Times:
The system will be set-up for you with whatever run time you wish that's available: Your choices will be 5, 10, 15, 20, 45 or 60 minutes. You can order the system pre-set with any one of these times. 15 minutes is the industry standard. You can easily change the run time yourself anytime after installation.
► Quick-Stop Mode:
A cool feature that allows you to keep the engine running without having to leave the keys in the ignition: While the engine is still running with the keys, you press the remote start button on the remote 2X and when you turn off the ignition and remove the keys the engine will remain running for the duration of the remote start run time.
► Safety Brake Pedal Shut-Down Input:
Mandatory connection that will immediately shut down the remote starter system if you step on the vehicle's brake pedal before you put the key's into the ignition and turn the ignition on (a.k.a. "key-take-over" feature).
► Valet/Remote Start ON/OFF Mode:
The system includes a valet mode where the remote starter feature can be temporarily turned off inhibiting the remotes from being able to activate the system.
► Windshield Mounted Antenna w/Built-In Programming/Valet Button & Status LED:
Commonly mounted at the top inside center of the vehicle's windshield directly behind the rear-view mirror for optimal operating range. The antenna conveniently incorporates both the system's programming/valet button and status LED. This eliminates any hole drilling in the vehicle's dash and reduces the amount of wire's needed to be run under the dash during installation.
► Exterior Illuminated Entry:
The system has the ability to automatically turn your vehicle's parking lights on at the same time you unlock the doors with one of the systems remotes for 30 seconds. Feature offered during checkout.
► Ignition Controlled Door Locks Feature:
Many newer vehicles on the road today have auto-locks which locks the vehicle's doors shortly after you begin to drive, if your vehicle is not equipped with this feature you can order this system to provide it. And it can be custom pre-configured for you in a few ways: Auto-lock with ignition ON only, Auto-unlock with ignition OFF or Auto-lock & unlock with ignition ON/OFF.
► Multiple Remotes Capability:
The system can be programmed to work with one or two additional remotes for a total of up to 4 remotes at the same time (additional remotes sold separately. Discounted remotes w/system purchase offered during checkout).
► Plug & Play Remote Upgrade Capability:
The system can be upgraded anytime in the future with several different styles of remotes and features to choose from. Upgrade to a 2-Way LED or LCD remote or add just a standard 1 button remote for just remote starting. The system can work with 4 remotes at a time in any combination. ► Diesel Compatible/Adjustable Delay Timer:
Programmable crank delay settings for Diesel engines. The system will be pre-set for you with any of the pre-set times available. Your choice of "wait-to-start" times are: 10, 15 or 20 seconds before crank to allow for proper glow-plug warming. You will be able to easily change this setting if need be after installation. Industry standard time is 15 seconds.
► Turbo Timer Mode:
If your vehicle is equipped, this feature will keep the engine running to allow your vehicle’s turbo to properly cool down before shutting the engine off. The system has 3 turbo timer run times: 3, 5 and 10 minutes. Choice provided during checkout.
► Vehicle Compatibility Guarantee:
The APSRS-5BZLR is available in the vehicle specific platform for over 500 vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, gas or diesel engines. After you place your order one of our technicians will check your order to confirm vehicle compatibility and email you a compatibility confirmation within the same business day. If in the rare event that this system is not available for your specific vehicle they will also email you this information and automatically cancel your order.

This system is compatible to 100's of vehicle's with manual transmissions: When the system is ordered for a vehicle with a manual transmission the system will be pre-programmed with a safety "Remote Start Ready Mode" which will require a procedure be performed while parking the vehicle that will enable remote starting before the next time you enter the vehicle.
► 2 Auxiliary Outputs Capability:
For more advanced installer's looking for a system that has auxiliary outputs for future expandable options like window roll-up/down, sunroof control etc. this system has 2 negative auxiliary outputs and each can be adjusted to 1 of 5 different timed outputs: pulse, push & hold, 10 sec. latched, 20 sec. latched and latched ON/OFF. In the rare event that you have a problem with your system within 3 years from date-of-delivery, just contact our technical support department and after they determine the problem, they will email you a return shipping label for the defective part and ship you the repaired or replacement part within 2 business days of receiving the defective part at no cost to you! Remotes carry a 1 year warranty only. And if you happen to be out of warranty, you still have lifetime tech support and will receive a VIP 10% discount on any out of warranty replacement parts you want. Warranty coverage extends only to full systems installed successfully and that failed under normal every day wear & tear due to factory defect or QC issues.
