One 2-Way LCD Screen Remote Transceiver:
5-Button remote (3 on the side) back-lit indigo blue screen that runs off of a single AAA battery (included) for several months with a battery-saver mode setting for even longer battery life. It's 2-way confirming abilities will enable you to confirm successful remote starting of your vehicle, remaining run time, doors locked, unlocked, power trunk activation and much more all on screen and all within 1 MILE of your vehicle.
Includes a 2nd Chromed Metal Reinforced Remote Transmitter:
Controls all the standard features of the system from the same distance as the 2-way remote just without the 2-way confirmation. Chromed metal reinforced to withstand the daily wear & tear of hanging from your keychain.
Remote Keyless Entry:
Remotely locks & unlocks all your vehicles doors.
Safety 2-Press Remote Start Activation:
The remote starter is activated by pressing the remote start button on the remote 2X within 3 seconds. This setting helps prevent any accidental activation that could occur with a single press activation setting.
Parking Lights Confirmation:
Visual confirmation that you activated the remote starter: The system will flash the vehicles parking lights 1X right after you activate the remote starter and then turn the parking lights on solid shortly afterwards to indicate that the vehicle is running via the remote starter.
Pre-Heat/Pre-Cool Activation:
Pre-setting your vehicle's heat settings prior to exiting your vehicle will enable you to pre-warm the interior and defrost the windshield when your vehicle is running via the remote starter. Same with the vehicle's AC, just pre-set the AC settings where you like it and it will pre-cool the interior on those hot days from it sitting in the sun.
Multiple Remote Start Run Times:
The system will be set-up for you with whatever run time you wish that's available: Your choices will be 5, 10, 15, 20, 45 or 60 minutes. You can order the system pre-set with any one of these times. 15 minutes is the industry standard. You can easily change the run time yourself anytime after installation.
Quick-Stop Mode:
A cool feature that allows you to keep the engine running without having to leave the keys in the ignition: While the engine is still running with the keys, you press the remote start button on the remote 2X and when you turn off the ignition and remove the keys the engine will remain running for the duration of the remote start run time.
Safety Brake Pedal Shut-Down Input:
Mandatory connection that will immediately shut down the remote starter system if you step on the vehicle's brake pedal before you put the key's into the ignition and turn the ignition on (a.k.a. "key-take-over" feature).
Valet/Remote Start ON/OFF Mode:
The system includes a valet mode where the remote starter feature can be temporarily turned off inhibiting the remotes from being able to activate the system.
Windshield Mounted Antenna w/Built-In Programming/Valet Button & Status LED:
Commonly mounted at the top inside center of the vehicle's windshield directly behind the rear-view mirror for optimal operating range. The antenna conveniently incorporates both the system's programming/valet button and status LED. This eliminates any hole drilling in the vehicle's dash and reduces the amount of wire's needed to be run under the dash during installation.
Ignition Controlled Door Lock and/or Unlock Option:
Many newer vehicles on the road today have auto-locks which locks the vehicle's doors shortly after you begin to drive, if your vehicle is not equipped with this feature you can order this system to provide it. And it can be custom pre-configured for you with in a few ways: Auto-lock with ignition ON only, Auto-lock & unlock with ignition ON/OFF or just unlock doors with ignition OFF.
Illuminated Entry Option:
The system has the ability to automatically turn your vehicle's interior/dome lights on at the same time you unlock the doors with one of the systems remotes for 30 seconds. Feature offered during checkout.
NEW FEATURE! All Entrance Alarm Protection Option* (No Extra Charge): If your vehicle didn't come equipped with a factory alarm system you can easy add one with just 1 extra wire** connection if you want. Alarm all your vehicle's doors with the system's OEM style security alarm option (offered during checkout). The system will utilize your vehicle's horn as a sounding device if any of the vehicle's doors are opened after being locked with one of the system's remotes. And as an EXTRA BONUS: if your vehicle is equipped with accessible hood and/or trunk trigger wires the kit will supply 2 extra independent inputs for each additional triggers.
*Option cannot be turned on or added later after installation, the system must be ordered with the alarm option pre-programmed ON.
**On most vehicle's; some vehicle's can require up to 4 connections when protecting all doors. If required extra inputs will be supplied.
Multiple Remotes Capability:
The system can be programmed to work with one or two additional remotes for a total of up to 4 remotes at the same time (additional remotes sold separately. Discounted remotes w/system purchase offered during checkout).
Diesel Compatible/Adjustable Delay Timer:
Programmable crank delay settings for Diesel engines. The system will be pre-set for you with any of the pre-set times available. Your choice of "wait-to-start" times are: 10, 15 or 20 seconds before crank to allow for proper glow-plug warming. You will be able to easily change this setting if need be after installation. Industry standard time is 15 seconds.
Turbo Timer Mode:
If your vehicle is equipped, this feature will keep the engine running to allow your vehicle’s turbo to properly cool down before shutting the engine off. The system has 3 turbo timer run times: 3, 5 and 10 minutes. Choice provided during checkout.
Vehicle Compatibility Guarantee:
The APSRS-2LCDZ is available in the vehicle specific platform for over 500 vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, gas or diesel engines. After you place your order one of our technicians will check your order to confirm vehicle compatibility and email you a compatibility confirmation within the same business day. If in the rare event that this system is not available for your specific vehicle they will also email you this information and automatically cancel your order.
3 Year Limited Warranty:
MotorCityRemotes.com will repair or replace the systems main control module if its ever found to fail under normal day-to-day operation for a period of 3 years from date-of-delivery. Remotes carry a 1 year warranty only.
