Easy Step-by-Step Illustrated Installation Guide
Integrates Automatically with your Factory Remotes:
Activate remote start by pressing lock 3X on your factory keyless entry remotes.
Preheat/Defrost or Precool your Interior: Just preset your HVAC settings where you want them and the system will activate them a few seconds after the vehicle is running by the remote starter.
Key Takeover Benefit:
Remote starter remains running when driver's door is opened. Upon entering the vehicle, when you turn on the ignition and step on the brake to shift into gear, the remote starter will automatically shut off but the vehicle will remain running normally with the key, no need to restart the vehicle.
15 Minute Adjustable Remote Start Run Time:
7 Run times to choose from 3, 5, 10, 15, 25, 30, 35 minutes. If you would like more or less run time you can indicate this in the drop down menu during ordering. Run times can be changed manually any time after installation.
Brake Pedal Shut-Down Feature:
If someone was to enter the vehicle while the vehicle is running by the remote start and they stepped on the brake pedal without turning the ignition on first, the remote starter will shut down.
CHOICE of Remote Start Activation Sequence:
The standard remote start activation procedure is pressing your factory remotes LOCK button 3X, but if you prefer, we can program the system to start by pressing LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK instead. If you think you would like this sequence better just use the drop down menu provided during ordering.
The most common reason to choose the "LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK" sequence is if your vehicle's remotes only beep the vehicle's horn when you press lock or unlock twice (a.k.a. "silent choice") and silently locks or unlocks the doors with just one press, then choosing the LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK remote start activation procedure will silently activate the remote starter without any horn confirmation.
Optional 1-Wire T-Tap Connection for the parking lights to turn ON when running via remote starter. Not a required connection.

Go straight from box to vehicle to complete installation in less then 60 minutes. Minimal tools are required, just a Phillips screwdriver to remove 2 Phillips screws (or 2 x 7mm) and a 10mm socket wrench to remove 1 x 10mm bolt (neither tool is included) and a plastic panel pry tool (which is included) to remove 3 vehicle panel covers and the vehicle's tilt-lever to access the needed factory harnesses located on the bottom of the steering column under the lower steering column cover.
"You don’t need to go to the dealer and the install takes about ten minutes if you know what you are doing and less than 30 if you are figuring it out. Also the support number they give you is answered by a real person and they know what they are doing and will get you up and running if you need some help. The directions that come with the kit are the easiest and step-by-step. All I had to do was pull the steering column cover, unplug two harnesses, plug them into the harness provided with the kit and run the other ends back into the vehicle harness and presto! Put the cover back on and you are in business. No more going out to a cold truck for this guy."
